Flight-delay compensation
£350 is what most delays from the UK are worth
The amount depends on distance, not on how annoyed you were: £220 under 1,500 km, £350 from 1,500 to 3,500 km which covers most of the Mediterranean, and £260 or £520 beyond that depending on the length of the delay. It is measured on arrival time, not departure. Under UK and EU rules, a long delay, a cancellation at short notice or a denied boarding can entitle you to compensation, and you can usually still claim on flights from the past several years. Airlines rarely volunteer this. Both services below work on a no-win, no-fee basis, so a rejected claim costs you nothing.
