Which links

Links to booking partners are affiliate links. We mark them with an affiliate link tag and a disclosure at the top of each page that has them. Our partners include Aviasales, Trivago, Airalo, DiscoverCars, Kiwitaxi and others (through Travelpayouts), and Trivago, Trip.com, holiday cottage, airport parking and travel insurance providers (through Awin). Reminder emails carry affiliate links too, and say so.

What commission does not do

• It never changes the price you pay. The partner charges the same whether you arrive from us or not.
• It does not decide the order brands appear in or what we say about them. Brands with no affiliate programme are still listed.
• It does not turn a guide price into a live one. Prices on our pages are guides, labelled as guides. The live price is on the partner's site before you pay.

Reviews and ratings

We do not publish customer reviews or give our own star ratings. Where a page shows a hotel star class (such as 5-star), that is the hotel's published class, not a review. We will never invent or incentivise reviews.

Cookies and tracking

Partners can only credit us if tracking works. That uses optional cookies, which are off unless you accept them. If you reject, our links go straight to the partner and we earn nothing. See the cookie policy.
